On 31 July 2003 the first World Peace Flame monument in the UK was installed at the Dru Centre in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.<\/p>\n

Lit by Dru founders Mansukh Patel, John Jones, Chris Barrington and Savitri MacCuish the ceremony attracted international dignitaries and peacemakers from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Home of the WPF, the Dru International Training Centre is a centre of education for health and wellbeing.\u2028 The magnificent monument is surrounded by majestic mountains.<\/p>\n

This beautiful WPF lights up the Snowdonia National Park with its\u2019 glass structure that allows the flame to be seen from far and wide. On the sides of the monument is the word \u2018peace\u2019 inscribed in different languages.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
