Peace in Your Hands (PiYH)
Children learn grammar, mathematics and history in school, so why shouldn’t they also learn about peace and friendship? Peace in Your Hands’ contains inspirational assignments and activities for 7 to 12-year-olds. It is completely free of charge for any school, parent or carer to download and use.
Teachers consistently report a more harmonious, positive classroom atmosphere. Children are connecting more easily, forming friendships and, significantly, less bullying. The programme also supports the development of mental and emotional resilience, helping children better understand themselves and navigate challenges with confidence.
More than 90,000 children in nearly 1,000 schools across 5 continents are now using the Peace Education Package.
This is helping them to see and celebrate the diversity they see around them and encourages them to embrace the underlying unity behind what they see.
