World Peace Flame Shared at West Yorkshire Lieutenants Garden Party

On 23 June 2025, the Garforth Peace Project attended the  Yorkshire Lord Lieutenants Garden Party, held in the beautiful grounds of Bowcliffe Hall.

During the event, over 100 World Peace Flame tealight candles and accompanying leaflets were shared with attendees – helping to spread the message of peace while connecting with a wide range of inspiring community and volunteer groups.

The day was filled with celebration and entertainment, including a performance by the Bantam of the Opera Choir alongside renowned soprano Lesley Garrett, who also received a World Peace Flame candle.
