90 Minutes of Peace: Celebrating 27 Years of the World Peace Flame

A unique celebration
On Friday 31 July 2026, hosted online and in person at the Dru Yoga Centre at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge, the World Peace Flame community will come together for a special 90 Minutes of Peace event, celebrating 27 years since the creation of the World Peace Flame.
The evening will include gentle movement, meditation, mantra and meaningful connection with people around the world.
The programme includes a Ceremony of Light, where the World Peace Flame will be offered to the Earth, accompanied by the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. There will also be Voices for Peace Chanting, creating a shared expression of unity, harmony and healing, along with global highlights from the World Peace Flame’s work.
This special gathering is an invitation to pause, reconnect and remember the light and peace within ourselves — and the positive impact we can have when we come together.
The event takes place from 8.00pm to 9.30pm and is open to everyone, either online or in person. It is a fundraising event, with all donations going to World Peace Flame UK.
