Remembrance Sunday 2025: Honouring with the World Peace Flame

On Remembrance Sunday 2025, we were deeply honoured to see the Garforth World Peace Flame included once again in the Service of Remembrance at St Mary’s Church, Garforth.

For the third consecutive year, the Flame was placed at the War Memorial alongside the wreaths and flowers—standing as a quiet yet powerful symbol of reflection, unity, and hope for a more peaceful future.

We extend our sincere thanks to the community at St Mary’s Church for including the World Peace Flame in this meaningful occasion. Its presence serves as a reminder that as we honour those who have been lost in conflict, we also renew our shared commitment to peace.
