The Hengelo lantern monument was designed by a local WPF committee and installed on June 9 2018.

The inauguration of the Nijmegen World Peace Flame Monument took place on October 7th 2010. 
The monument is situated on a quiet square in front of the Gedachteniskerk, near the ‘Titus Brandsma Memorial’ close to the busy city centre.


The Hyderabad World Peace Flame tribute is a wooden monument that was dedicated to the WPF on January 2006.



The lighting of the World Peace Flame lantern was the focal point of the annual Byron Bay Peace Festival, which attracts thousands of people each year.

On Sunday 9 May 2004, the World Peace Flame monument was installed in Cadzand in the province of Zeeland, The Netherlands.

A new WPF lantern was installed in Eindhoven on 24 May 2017.

Since 21 March 2012 the World Peace Flame has been burning in the centre of Enschede in the Netherlands!
